Experience the thrill of top-class tennis at the world's oldest tennis tournament, the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships.
The first Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships took place in 1877, and tradition remains an important element today, with matches still taking place on grass and a strict 'white clothing only' rule for players.
The two-week long tournament is a highlight of London's summer calendar and a hugely popular event – attracting around 500,000 spectators.
Take your seat by the court or on the picturesque grounds and feel the excitement build as the finest tennis players in the world serve up a dramatic sporting spectacle. Then celebrate (or commiserate) with a classic Wimbledon favourite: a bowl of fresh strawberries and cream.
Tickets are allocated randomly by computer through a public ballot, so request an entry form (UK residents) or apply online (overseas visitors) as soon as possible.
If you do not get any tickets through the ballot you can buy premium tickets on the day – and enjoy another Wimbledon tradition: queuing!
