Get into the Christmas spirit as the Devizes Christmas Festival comes to town, including fireworks displays and a spectacular parade of lanterns.
The night that Devizes turns on the Christmas Lights is now a daylong festival of fun and music!
There are all-day Christmas markets in the Market Place and Corn Exchange, live music and street theatre shows but the most awaited feature of the day is the gigantic parade of lanterns made by children and community groups from Devizes and the surrounding villages - big ones, small ones, angels, dragons and birds, in fact more shapes and colours than you could possibly imagine!
The parade of 2,000 people circles the town and returns to the Market Place in time for Father Christmas to switch on the town's Christmas Lights and start a fireworks display.
