Visit Scarborough and follow in the footsteps of Jane Horrocks as she played her role in ‘Little Voice’, the 1998 BAFTA and Oscar nominated film.
‘Little Voice’ was a very successful British film grossing over £7 million, filmed in Scarborough with a leading cast including Jane Horrocks, Michael Caine, Ewan McGregor and Brenda Blethyn, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance.
Locations were used all around Scarborough during filming. Take a stroll and view the West Pier Fishing quay, Mr Boo’s Rendezvous Night Club and the Leeds Hotel, then take a break in the Coffee Bean Café on Columbus Ravine. Enjoy a coffee in the café used for filming and enjoy the display of filming photos.
Finish your visit at the Victorian Spa Suncourt where Little Voice’s father used to take her, with its stunning natural backdrop out to sea.
