See the sawdust fly at the National Forest Wood Fair

Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire

With demonstrations, 'have a go' wood craft sessions and children's games, the National Forest Wood Fair will keep adults and children entertained.

The Wood Fair is a celebration of trees, woodlands, forestry, timber and fantastic woodcrafts. First held in 2005, this popular event attracts visitors from all over the country and over 100 exhibitors and demonstrators.

The Wood Fair is a wonderful country day out with a very definite focus on trees, timber and all things related to wood. You’ll find beautiful things to buy, from handmade flutes and rustic towel rails, to children’s chairs and hand-turned bowls.

There will be live demonstrations of woodland crafts, including woodworking and wood turning masterclasses, interspersed with Forest Food Festival cookery demonstrations.

You can have a go at pole lathe turning, pyrography, willow weaving – or even take part in the lumberjack display.
