Leicester is proud of its 2,000 years of history, dating back to the Roman times, catalogued and exhibited at various museums.
The latest addition to this collection is the interactive ‘Richard III: Leicester’s Search for a King’ exhibition at The Guildhall.
The Richard III exhibition temporarily housed in the shadow of Leicester Cathedral, opened in February 2013. It explains the findings of the 2012 Grey Friars excavation and details the evidence that proves the skeleton found belonged to King Richard III. You'll see the story told by four narrators, all from the team of experts at the University of Leicester who undertook the work.
