Cars, cars, cars…oh and more cars.
Cars are one of the few things that can excite both grown-ups and kids in equal measure. For some it’s the power and speed, for others it’s the sweeping lines and sheer elegance of design. Whatever thrills you about our four-wheeled friends, you’ll find it in spades at Beaulieu Abbey.
Home to the National Motor Museum, you can see an incredible collection of more than 250 cars. Stand and stare at the first designs of the automobile through to the most high tech Formula 1 creations of today.
Once you’ve explored the history of cars you can immerse yourself in the fictional world of Bond, James Bond or indulge your petrol head in the World of Top Gear.
If there’s a cyclist among you, have no fear, there is also a range of car-free attractions here too, including the Palace House and gardens, the Secret Army Exhibition and the abbey itself.
