Discover Ghosts in the DEAD centre of England

Derby, Derbyshire

Prepare for tales of the Black Death, brutal murders and hauntings as you tour Derby's churches, Inns and Pubs.

Derby is officially one of the most haunted cities in the UK! With over 315 sightings of ghosts in the city centre, it is no wonder that Derby is fondly known as 'The Dead Centre of England'.

Discover the city's haunted and gory past on walks that will take you to scenes of public hangings, murders and executions. Hear the stories of tortured souls and then settle your nerves at the pub stops en-route.

You'll enjoy a few surprises along the way including a visit to the old tunnels running beneath the impressive Guildhall, built in 1828 or in Derby Gaol where you will be permitted to leave, unlike so many that have been there before!!

There is a choice of 2 Derby Ghost Walks. If you survive the night, a Ghost Hunters Supper will be served at the Old Bell Hotel at the end of the City Centre Ghost Walk or a Condemned Man’s Supper will be served at the end of the night at Derby Gaol.
