Go wild for the nature and wildlife of the Cotswolds

Moreton In Marsh, Gloucestershire

Experience the wild beauty of Batsford Arboretum in Moreton in Marsh and the sight of rare birds of prey soaring over the surrounding Cotswolds hills.

Batsford Arboretum is home to one of the country’s largest private tree collections, with 56 acres of wild gardens, paths and streams.

Enjoy wild walks through spectacular colours as the arboretum changes from green in spring and summer to a kaleidoscope of autumnal reds, pinks and golds

Nature lovers can appreciate a whole host of flora and fauna, from rare fungi and a variety of birds, to moths and badgers.

Browse the Garden Shop and Plant Centre for gardening advice, treat yourself to home baked cakes in the Garden Terrace Café or peruse the Gift Shop for vintage homewares.

Next door, at the Cotswold Falconry Centre, you’ll find 150 different birds of prey in natural aviaries in the owl woods.
