For lovers of real ale and cider, there’s no better place to stop off than the Robin Hood Beer Festival, with over a thousand real ales and ciders.
Hosted in the grounds of Nottingham Castle, the festival showcases breweries from the world over, as well as those with their origins in Nottingham.
A full programme of entertainment is offered down on the bandstand, while each year the best tipples are tried and tested in a cask beer and cider competition, which the public is invited to look in on.
The festival not only provides a staggering choice of drink, but also fresh locally produced foods with plenty of stands selling hot delights. So be sure to give them a try.
The Robin Hood Beer Festival is certainly one of the tastiest foodie events in Nottinghamshire.
