Frolic in the Follies at Hawkstone Park

Weston-under-Redcastle, Shropshire

Hawkstone Historic Park is a unique place, with an intriguing mix of follies, caves and grottos.

Created in the 18th Century by the Hill family, Hawkstone became one of the greatest historic parklands in Europe. Centred around the Red Castle and the awe-inspiring Grotto Hill, it offers hours of delight and stunning views of the Shropshire countryside.

Covering 100 acres you and your beau can walk hand-in-hand along intricate pathways, through ravines, under arches and over bridges, under towering cliffs and through the follies themselves. You may even meet the hermit in his hermitage! With its Arthurian connections and picturesque scenery Hawkstone Historic Park & Follies has become a firm favourite with couples (and even the odd film crew) over the years.
