Taste a delicious piece of edible history in one of England's most historic cities at Coventry's Transport Museum.
Coventry Transport Museum's café, Esquires, is the only place in Coventry where you can try the city's traditional delicacy - the Coventry Godcake.
These delicious triangular pastries are filled with a secret fruity mincemeat-style filling, and the three corners of the Godcake are said to represent the Holy Trinity. Some people also say that the triangular shape represents the three spires of Coventry.
The Coventry Godcakes are baked to a 200-year-old recipe by a local baker, and are a delicious accompaniment to a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee.
