Explore 900 years of history found in historic King's Lynn, where medieval churches, secret courtyards and hidden alleys await your discovery.
Grab one of the free guided walk leaflets available at the Tourist Information Centre and explore the town’s heritage at your leisure, or join one of the regular Town Guides’ guided walk groups for a more structured exploration of the historic town.
There are many types of guided walks available, including regular walks such as 'Historic Lynn’, a 'Docklands Walk' and evening walks including 'The Darker Side of Lynn' (a Guided Walk focussing on tales of murder, treason, hangings and witchcraft) and more.
Situated on the bank of the River Great Ouse, King’s Lynn also has a thriving modern maritime scene, which you will witness on one of the many guided walks. Watch fishing boats land shellfish from the Wash and vessels loading grain, all the makings for a tranquil stroll around what was once one of England’s most important ports.
