Experience the life of a Royal Marine

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Train yourself to the peak of physical fitness at an outdoor assault course and see if you've got what it takes, at the Royal Marines Museum.

Over the school holidays you can experience every aspect of a Royal Marine's life. Kids can climb aboard a helicopter, make their way up the climbing wall, cook survival food, sit on a weapon-mounted vehicle or interact with Royal Marines.

Those visiting the museum can follow a recruit through training and on to deployment around the world, then creep through the jungle, marvel at the medal collection or take a trip down memory lane in the Royal Marines Museum's WWII home front kitchen.

Please note that the public galleries to the museum will close on the 1st April.
