Rammy Fest is the place to head for a festival with impressive headliners, a local flavour and a really friendly atmosphere.
A cricket club is not your average festival venue but then ‘Rammy Fest’, as the locals call it, is anything other than ordinary. The headliners read like a Who’s Who of music with Sinead O’Connor, Richard Hawley and Inspiral Carpets taking to the stage in previous years.
This is a festival with an air of gentility, where people smile at you as they dance to the silent disco, form an orderly queue while waiting to sample some local black pudding and help out if you can’t get your tent up.
They haven’t forgotten kids either, and there’s story-telling and art workshops to keep them distracted. At least until you give into their pleas and take them to Rammy’s very own funfair.
VisitEngland would like to invite you to take part in a short survey about our website.
It should take no more than a couple of minutes.
