Denbies Wine Estate is one of the largest vineyards in England producing rose to sparkling wines. You can experience tours around the vineyard, help with the grape harvest, or enjoy cellar tasting sessions. With a restaurant overlooking the vineyard you can enjoy wine over lunch too.
Also on site is the independent Surrey Hills Brewery, which makes the well-known Shere Drop beer. A small brewery creating local beers focusing on different flavours, their beer has become a hit with Surrey’s residents. You can take a tour of the brewery, enjoy tastings plus buy to take home.
You can even stay in the charming Denbies Farmhouse situated in the heart of the vineyard.
About a 30 minute drive away is the Hogs Back Brewery. A larger brewery making larger quantities of beers, as well as more unique and short batch beers, you can take a brewery tour and indulge in beer tasting.
