Enjoy creature comforts at the Dandelion Hideaway

Osbaston, Leicestershire

Down on the farm there are tents that think they’re cottages, roll-top baths, proper beds, fresh food, plenty of fresh air, and plenty to see and do.

Glamping. It’s camping, but with a hefty upgrade on the essentials. At The Dandelion Hideaway, on Osbaston Farm, they have it down to a fine art.

Rub your eyes and look again. Even the wooden treehouse boasts brass beds.

Outside is nature, right there on your doorstep - fields, water meadows and woodland. Gaze up at big skies full of magical stars, dawns and sunsets. Indulge yourself with candles, marshmallow toasting and rocking chair reading.

If you really want to ‘do’, you can. There are hen’s eggs to collect, goats to milk and ponies to groom.

Further afield, an ancient battlefield, a zoo, adventures and discovery await in The National Forest.
