Discover hidden Ice Age art at Creswell Crags

Creswell, Nottinghamshire

Hidden in a beautiful limestone gorge you'll find some of Britain's only known Ice Age art.

The archaeological findings at Creswell Crags provide a tantalizing glimpse into what life was like for our ancestors during the last Ice Age, between 50,000 and 10,000 years ago.

Venture into the limestone gorge and discover a network of caves linking us to our Ice Age history. Be sure to visit Robin Hood's cave, which was a hideout for Robin and His Merry Men, and explore the exhibitions on site, which bring the Ice Age to life before your very eyes.

Don a hard hat and take a tour to discover the ancient rock art and learn about the way the gorge has been used over thousands of years.
