Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival
The festival will begin with a weekend at Snape Maltings, followed by a week of events through the region.

Cornwall Food and Drink Festival
See Cornwall's top chefs in action as they whip up a feast using the best of Cornwall's ingredients. Inspirational cookery demos run throughout the festival and you'll have the chance to buy from Cornish suppiers to recreate the dishes at home.
October
2-11 October
Exmoor Food Festival
Visitors to Exmoor between Friday 2 and Sunday 11 October will be able to experience a taste of the very best in local produce from this beautiful part of the West Country at the eighth Exmoor Food Festival. The tasty programme of around 40 events will include food fairs, farmers’ markets, tasting platters, themed evenings, farm visits and indulgent cream teas. Some events will take place every day throughout the festival, while others will be on specific days.
The festival kicks off on Friday morning at Minehead Farmers’ Market. Some highlights over the ten days include a pony trek through the beautiful Doone Valley returning to Cloud Farm for a cream tea overlooking Badgworthy stream on Saturday, 3 October priced at £20pp; a hearty breakfast at Moorland Hall and self-guided walk to Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s highest point on Sunday 4 and 11 October (£6 adults and £4 children) and a nostalgic journey on the West Somerset steam railway with high tea at the new Turntable Café at Minehead station on 6, 7 and 8 October.
3-4 OctoberEast Midlands Food and Drink Festival
Described as the UK’s largest regional food festival, it is held in Melton Mowbray, “the town which gave rise to two of the most iconic products of British Food; Melton Mowbray Pork Pies and Stilton Cheese.” There will be food, dance, music, arts and culture.
31 October
Tastes of Lincolnshire Sausage Festival
The county's most famous export the Lincolnshire sausage will be celebrated in Lincoln on Saturday 31st October. The popular Sausage Festival attracted 8,000 visitors last year to Lincoln Castle. The annual festival, arranged by Lincoln Rotary and in its 9th year, will be held predominantly within the grounds of Lincoln Castle and features themed cookery demonstrations from Rachel Green, TV chef and local food champion.
