hat could be cooler than a VW Camper Van? How about a camper that comes with a built-in DVD player, iPod connector and other goodies?

The lovely people at Vanilla Splits have restored a fleet of ten genuine VWs, all with mod cons that make them even better than they were the first time around (if that’s possible).

Once the key’s in the ignition, it’s up to you where you go: bomb it down to Newquay and catch some waves, head to the bike tracks of the South Downs, or just hide yourself away for a romantic weekend with some chilled bubbly from the van’s fridge and your favourite movie.

Each camper sleeps two people and comes with its own unique personality: “true gentleman” Mr McHenry is decked out to look like an American Diner - from the Sixties of course – while the peaceful (or should that be Peace Maaan?) interior of Zebedee makes him a fave with festival-goers.

Whatever you get up to, you’ll be doing it in style…
