Help conserve stunning stretches of coastline
G
et up-close and personal with some of England’s most beautiful beaches, on a week-long volunteering holiday on the Island of St Mary.
Working alongside nine other people (who you’ll quickly get to know), you’ll have expert guidance from an experienced group leader who will show you the ropes.
You’ll spend your days out in the sun and sea air, helping to conserve this stunning stretch of coastline, while working on your tan at the same time.
Not only that, but you’ll get to hear talks by resident marine experts, and go on guided walks that give you an insider’s view of what it's like to live and work on these rather gorgeous islands.
Run by conservation charity, BTCV, this holiday is part of the organisation’s mission to create a more sustainable future by inspiring people and improving natural spaces.
Good on ‘em we say. Anyway, when work is over for the day you get to soak up the peace and quiet in Christmas House or Holly Cottage – both just minutes from the beach.
While looking out over Porthcressa Bay and Peninnis Head, you’ll have a moment to plan your next trip...
