here’s no better feeling than zipping through impressive landscapes at 60 mph with the wind in your face or testing your mettle as you hug each bend in the road. And the best thing about a motorbike break is that you don’t have to be midway through a mid-life crisis to enjoy it.

North Lincolnshire is home to some of the country’s best motorcycling roads. The A161 from Crowle through Eastoft towards Swinefleet and Goole provides superb riding with sweeping bends, tight corners and good visibility.

Other popular biking roads are the A1077 and the A18. And with the rolling hills of the Wolds and the quaint bridges of the Ancholme Valley as a backdrop, North Lincolnshire’s diverse scenery makes for a stunning ride.

Although traffic levels are generally low outside of the towns, if you really want to escape then there’s a number of quiet country roads to explore - just remember to watch out for those tractors. And when it comes to bikes, it doesn’t matter if you own a Harley Davidson or the latest Suzuki and Yamaha models, you’ll love tearing up these roads.
