Kiss-me-quick promenades with creaky Victorian pleasure piers, rows of beach huts and cliff-trimmed Blue Flag coves – oh we do love to be beside England’s seaside.
 

English beach holidays are crammed with simple, maritime pleasures. Pack buckets, spades and deckchairs to bask on endless golden sands. Or paddle in rock pools and hunt hidden smugglers’ coves for booties of fossils and seashells.
 

We’re rather proud of English seaside breaks. Where else in the world can you feast on fresh fish ‘n’ chips and sticks of rock to a backing track of sea gulls, Punch & Judy and tinkling arcade games?
